We are sorry that the site has not been updated for some time. At the end of October, David was hospitalised with a dramatic abscess which had turned very nasty. We won't say where it was, but he's sitting much more comfortably now ... Three operations later, David was able to return home and started work again in the New Year.

However, he is still only able to work from home and is as yet unable to travel, even as far as London. On March 18 he is due for a check-up and hopefully a date for a final tidying up operation which will bring everything to a conclusion. We expect to be fully back at work by early April, NHS overload permitting (we have been superbly looked after by the NHS, but they are certainly under pressure).

In the meantime, David Porter Text & Editorial is still functioning, though projects at the moment are limited to desk-editorial and writing. Tricia's routine has of course been severely disrupted by David's illness but she is also working at this time.

So please do get in touch if there are projects that you would like to involve us in, and we will be delighted to talk. In the meantime we are currently promoting Tricia's newly-catalogued photo library, and there are some interesting projects on the horizon.
